Camera Aquilegia is born in 2024 from a long friendship and a common love of baroque music. Moana Galletti and Camille Caradeuc studied together in Annecy’s Conservatory, Grenoble’s musicology bachelor and then parted to pursue their instruments in Lyon’s CNSMDL for Moana in baroque violin and Berlin’s UDK for Camille in Voice/Opera. Eolia Cypriani (Cello) and Laetitia Schneider (Theorbo) quickly joined them.

The ensemble is focusing on french baroque cantatas and has already produced two programs: ONDES ET ZEPHYRS (2024) & ENCHANTERESSES (2025). Both programs explore mythological themes, the highly dramatic essence of the cantatas allows us to dive deep into human nature.
